What are organisers and grilles used for? 

Organisers and bezels are key components of cable management in server racks. They are used to organise cables, which facilitates access to equipment, improves airflow and enhances the aesthetics of the installation. By properly organising cables, tangles can be avoided, making maintenance much easier and minimising the risk of damage. 

Types of organisers and grilles 

• Cable organisers - are used to arrange and organise cables inside racks. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically for optimum space and cable management. 

• Brush bezels - allow cables to be routed through the rack panels, while concealing them and protecting them from damage. Thanks to their brush-like structure, these bezels allow cables to pass through while protecting the openings. 

• Blind panels - are used to cover unused spaces in racks. These panels improve the appearance of the rack and help to manage airflow, which is crucial for efficient cooling of equipment. 

How do I choose the right organiser and grilles? 

1. Type of organiser: If you need a simple solution for organising cables, consider a cable organiser such as the Extralink 6001. This model allows cables to be easily arranged in the rack for improved organisation and aesthetics. 

2. Brush bezels: If you plan to run cables through the rack panels, the brush bezel will be the ideal choice. For example Extralink brush panel allows cables to be routed safely, protecting them from damage. 

3. Blind panels: For unused rack spaces, it is worth using blanking panels to improve aesthetics and promote better airflow. You can choose blanking panels with a height of 1U, such as Extralink 1U, or Extralink 2Udepending on how much space you need to cover.
